Do I really Need Weighbridge Software for my Weighbridges ?

We have come down to an important question. If you are in your weighbridge buying journey When you own weighbridges you are curious about how the data will get stored in the weighbridge or do you have to buy a computer or will I get software along with the weighbridge or will I have to buy it separately; all these questions come into your mind. 

Each weighbridge manufacturer works differently. The 3 ways it could work are : 

1. Some manufacturer will give you such an indicator which will only display the weight and that will get transferred to the computer, you will enter that data into the computer and a slip will come out as a result of that entry. This is also termed as weighbridge software.
   
   
2. Some manufacturers just give you the indicator which includes the storage, USB port, the facility to type and print through it. So you don’t need the computer and software. The cost of the computer gets reduced if you are okay with that system.
   
   
3. The third way is in spite of having this system; you have to connect a computer and various software that come along with it. It consists of 
   1. anti-theft features, 
   2. online software, 
   3. mobile reporting software. 

If someone asks you additional cost for these software, you say that the other supplier is providing me the same software where the mail will come. But those software are the basic and their indicator is too. Hence there are vast differences between the software. 

So, if you have come across someone who includes the software and then someone who doesn’t, please ask what software does your weighbridge will need.
